County Hospital is seeking a competent, independent and highly ethical professional to join our team as an Internal Auditor.

Key Responsibilities
* Review the hospital’s financial, operational and administrative processes.
* Conduct regular audits of revenue, billing, pharmacy, laboratory, stores, procurement, payroll and petty cash.
* Verify daily collections, bank deposits, mobile money transactions and financial reconciliations.
* Review inventory records and participate in periodic stock counts.
* Identify revenue leakage, waste, fraud, control weaknesses and non-compliance.
* Assess compliance with hospital policies, approved procedures and regulatory requirements.
* Investigate financial and operational discrepancies and recommend corrective action.
* Monitor the implementation of previous audit recommendations.
* Prepare clear audit reports for management and follow up on unresolved issues.
* Recommend practical controls to safeguard the hospital’s cash, medicines, equipment and other assets.
* Maintain strict confidentiality and professional independence.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or a related field.
* Professional qualification or progress toward ICA Ghana, ACCA, CIMA or CIA is an advantage.
* At least three years of relevant audit, accounting or internal-control experience.
* Healthcare, pharmacy, retail or inventory-audit experience is an advantage.
* Strong knowledge of accounting systems, Microsoft Excel and financial controls.
* Excellent analytical, investigative and report-writing skills.
* High level of integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and communicate findings professionally.
