The Diabetes and Hypertension Clinic at County Hospital was born out of the sheer disease burden of Stroke, kidney disease, heart disease that result from uncontrolled diabetes and hypertension in the population we serve. The success of this specialist physician-led establishment is captured in a 2021 research publication in the Internet Journal of Cardiovascular Research. The one-of-a-kind team consists of an interventional cardiologist with his team of doctors, a public health officer, pharmacist, nutritionist and physical instructor in our typical patient-centered approach to care. Our supporting diagnostic facilities makes for a complete one-stop clinic for all cardiovascular diseases.
